why discuss any theory before it's conclusively resolved?

i'm not.  i like the theory put forth by Douglas Van Wieren 
(douglasv@dip.eecs.umich.edu) that Piper, or whoever, is not
playing Catherine in disguise (it is clear to me that there's
a disguise--maybe even this Fumio, but it sure seems like a
